School's out

Is it just me or does today feel like the last day of term?  Almost everyone is off next week and there is a buzz in the air.  A buzz of freedom.  I can't wait to run out the doors at 5.30, and straight to the pub.
God I love summer.

Anyhoo, back to the clothes.  This is my new fave dress.  A lot of people have asked if it's vintage - it has an air of Mad Men about it.  It's definitely 50s in style, which as you know is probably my favourite decade of all.  But it's actually from Dorothy Perkins. And for once I actually like the belt that come free with the dress - that never happens, so big thumps up to Dotty P for hitting the nail on the head with that one.

I actually did some gardening in this dress on Sunday - felt incredibly house-wifey. Overdressed for gardening?  Never!

The breakdown
Dress: Dorothy Perkins, £40
Belt: free with dress
Shoes: Kate Kanzier, £25
Lipstick: No.17 in hot chilli
Earrings: Accessorize

So do you have any fun plans for the long break?  The Bot and I are staying local and pottering.  And of course the wedding is next Saturday, so i'm sure there'll be a few last minute bits next week! I hope you have some fun plans in the making.

And I couldn't resist sharing these gorgeous little Easter cupcakes from the Hummingbird bakery.  Aren't they adorable? I'll take two boxes please!

Available from 18th-25th April, pre-order available online
